We offer a 48 hour cancellation policy and the following courses.

INTRODUCTORY DIVE: The underwater world of Maui is waiting for you! You don’t have to be a certified diver to experience SCUBA. Our experienced instructors will teach you the basic skills to go out and have a first safe and fun dive.

REFERRAL DIVES: Scuba Students can be referred from Mainland dive courses to complete their requirements for Open Water Certification. We offer Check-out dives for any training agency (some may be for an additional cost).

OPEN WATER DIVER: If you have always wanted to learn to dive but have not had the time, this is the perfect opportunity to take a class in our beautiful Hawaiian waters and return home as a certified diver.

ADVANCED OPEN WATER: The Advanced Open Water Course is designed to provide the novice diver with a structured, well supervised, means to gain practical experience after Open Water Certification.

SKILLS UPDATE: How sharp are your diving skills? Has it been 3 or more years since your last dive? If so, your Hawaiian diving adventures will be more enjoyable with a tune up. It is also required.

STRESS AND RESCUE: This course is a prerequisite for all leadership training as well as a requirement, along with five specialty certifications, for the highest non-instructional level certification SSI offers, the MASTER DIVER.

BOAT DIVER: The course is designed to familiarize divers with the skills, knowledge, planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems, and hazards of boat diving.

COMPUTER DIVER: The COMPUTER DIVER Course is designed to be a safe, supervised introduction to diving with a computer. It will familiarize students with the operation, skills, procedures, and problems of diving with computers.

DEEP DIVER: The Deep Diver Specialty is designed to be an introduction to deep diving and to help the student develop the necessary skills, knowledge, and techniques to safely participate in deep diving activities.

EQUIPMENT SPECIALIST: The Equipment Specialty course is designed to be an introduction to new types of equipment and to familiarize divers with the operation and maintenance of equipment.

FISH IDENTIFICATION SPECIALTY: During the Fish Identification Specialty Course you'll go on two open water dives (which may be completed in one day). These dives allow you to practice basic fish identification techniques.

UNDERWATER PHOTOGRAPHER: No photo experience required! That's what the program is for - showing you how to take award-winning pictures underwater. During your Underwater Photographer Specialty Course you'll do two open water dives, which will be conducted in one day.

SEARCH & RECOVERY: The SEARCH AND RECOVERY Course is designed to be an introduction to Search & Recovery diving and to help the student develop the necessary skills and knowledge for safe Search & Recovery diving.
